You know how a million ideas burst into your head all the time when you’re planning a wedding? Sure, you’ve got a note pad next to the bed but what about something to jot down all your great shower inspired ideas? Thanks to AquaNotes, you can lather up without fear of forgetting those fantastic ideas.

These neat notepads feature waterproof paper and suction cups to secure the notepad and pencil to the shower wall. There is even a Love Notes version which features two pencils (one red) and would make a very fun bridal shower (get it?) gift.

Honeymooning with a baby?

Maybe you’re shopping for a bun in the oven wedding gown (a la Bethenny) or maybe you’ve got a baby from your first marriage. Either way, if you’re thinking about taking a tot on your honeymoon, I’ve got something to make the trip a little easier.

The Puj Baby Tub is a flat piece of hypoallergenic foam with magnets that magically turn it into an easy to tote along baby bath. The Puj team sent me one to test out and it was as simple as snap it together, put it in the sink and add water!

The Globetrotting Baby was cozy in the lounge position while I tried it out on her.

She seemed pretty happy in there and because she was so secure, I had both hands free which doesn’t happen with your typical baby bathtubs.

It weighs nothing, dries quickly and easily fits in a suitcase or a NYC apartment…

Back from the B-List!

I’m back from a fun-filled weekend in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and DC where I had the pleasure of hanging with some of the world’s best bridal bloggers at the B-List Conference. A big thanks to Anne, Vane and Maria for all their hard work coordinating everything.

It will take me a few posts to tell you all about it but I’ll start with the Friday night Meet & Greet cocktail reception at The Torpedo Factory. The space looked and sounded great (flowers by Holly Chappelle Flowers, furniture by DC Rentals and the wedding and event entertainment and bands by Elan Artists).

The fun and delicious menu was created by Design Cuisine. There was a “Pop-Up Bar” featuring everything popped like popcorn (in every variety), pop rocks, pop tarts, etc. Another fave was the DIY-Prosecco bar where guests could add their favorite flavorings (pear, cranberry, orange and pomegranate!).

The passed hors d’oeurves were amazing and I loved that they named each appetizer after a different B-List blogger. I’m pleased to report that the Globetrotting Bride’s All-Over Influenced Duck Confit Taco with Asian Pear Salsa was sooo delicious! Don’t you just want to reach into your computer screen and grab one? I bet you do!

Chanel’s Summer 2010 collection – Les Pop-up de Chanel features some bright beachy colors like pink, coral and turquoise that will look great with a summer tan.
