Fun wedding trend takes flight…Asian Wedding Tradition

Ever notice that a lot of brides feature origami cranes in their wedding decor? Just look here, here and here.

Well, this popular wedding trend is based on an Asian tradition. The crane mates for life and symbolizes peace and longevity in Asian cultures.   13. I LOVE the look of those invites! My mom lived in Japan for 5 years and I remember her telling me about this custom. She had a Japanese friend who lived with her and did the folding of 1000 cranes.
