Vera Wang goes Pretty in Pink!

Looks like white weddings are getting a little dull for Vera Wang. The top bridal designer unveiled a slew of pink, rose and coral gowns for her Fall 2014 bridal collection.

Does the dress fit???

Hello ladies,

Just thought I’d share a website I found to help you with your wedding planning called Does the Dress Fit?  You’ll find the usual articles on wedding cakes, dresses, party favors and fitness but I especially love their articles on honeymoons.

Here are some of my faves:

Planning a wedding? David Tutera to the rescue!

If you haven’t seen My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, you’ll want to tune in on Sunday, September 27 (10 pm on WE tv) for the start of Season 2.  I took my mom to the premiere party this week and got a sneak peek!  Lets just say he can rescue a wedding like nobody else while keeping the bride’s original ideas.  I don’t know how brides get chosen for this show but if you hear about a casting call, run — don’t walk!

David has some other big news…he’s paired up with special occasion dress house Faviana to launch a line of luxurious wedding gowns inspired by celebrity red carpet fashions!  The wedding gowns are named after the celebrity who inspired them including Charlize, Cameron, Penelope, Fergie, Gwenyth, Audrey, Marilyn and more.  The fashion show was amazing and we loved the gowns.  I can see them working for an array of weddings from intimate affairs to destination weddings and eleborate gala dinners.  I especially loved the ones that had detachable bottoms which turned them into cute mini-dresses perfect for the two-dress bride.

The collection is expected to be in-stores this February.  Check out some of my favorites below.  And yes, it is really hard to photograph a moving model…

PS – I thought it was very cool that the Kleinfeld Bridal team was sitting across the runway from us!
