Before the big plunge, soak up pure heaven at Qua Baths _ Spa – Caesars Palace, Atlantic City

Globetrotting Cindy here reporting from my recent visit to Atlantic City…

Your wedding day is fast approaching…
now’s the perfect time to grab the girls and head to Atlantic City for your last single girl getaway!  For an over the top spa retreat, where you don’t have to keep the gossip down to a minimum, head to the new $15 million Qua Baths _ Spa at Caesars Atlantic City. Modeled after the world famous Qua Baths _ Spa at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Caesars Atlantic City’s Qua Baths _ Spa, opened in June 2008.  It features 14 treatment rooms, their signature Roman baths, and a rooftop pool that will take the spa experience to a whole new level.

The 411 on Qua Baths _ Spa:
The 16,000 square-foot Qua Baths and Spa uses the natural properties of water to soothe away stress and tension. Bathed in natural light, accented by smooth stone flooring, dark woods and cascading waterfalls, Qua Baths and Spa takes the worries out of wedding planning the minute you walk in.

Qua is the ideal atmosphere for relaxed “Social Spa-ing,” a new concept in the spa world, reminiscent of the social gathering at the glorious baths of ancient Rome. Their Signature Roman Baths are the heart of the spa experience and the perfect time to discuss last minute wedding plans with the bridal party. The Roman Baths consists of three pools, varying in temperature and size. Guests are welcome to come with family and friends to mingle as they unwind and relax. There are separate Roman baths for both men and women.

An additional “social spa-ing” bonus, the tea room features an in-house Tea Sommelier who will pair teas with your particular treatment. In lieu of spa treatments, guests can opt for a Roman Bath day pass which includes use of the Roman baths, sauna, steam room and tea lounge for $50 a day.

Starved for attention? For the ultimate Roman bath experience, try their signature Dieci Mani treatment. Inspired by ancient worship ceremonies in honor of Venus, Dieci Mani means “ten hands,” and is so named because guests will enjoy the healing touch of four artisans and one esthetician. This treatment is then followed by a facial and a massage. Guests also go home with a basket of spa goodies. Attention doesn’t come cheap, the price tag for the Dieci Mani treatment is $5,000.

The Qua Baths _ Spa also features: one deluxe Couple’s Studio (for great couples treatments), three facial rooms, wet rooms featuring Vichy showers, an herbal steam room, a cedarwood sauna, a seasonal outdoor pool and sun area, and my favorite a Crystal Body Art Room with your choice of Swarovski crystals, perfect for getting bedazzled before the big party night out!
